Janet is an illustrator, writer, and maker.


About

Janet Martin is an illustrator, writer, and coder originally from the UK who lives in Vancouver, Canada. She creates editorial illustrations and children’s books, and experiments with electronic and data-based making.

Janet is also the colourist for the Laser Moose and Rabbit Boy graphic novel series.

She studied picture-book illustration at Emily Carr University of Art + Design.

Janet loves vintage British stop-action animation, the art of Ron Searle and Quentin Blake, and the writing of Roald Dahl. In her spare time, she fixes robot vacuums and codes in the Python programming language.

Janet is currently available for illustration work.
